Equipped with 48 ports for Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceivers, the RT8000 port card can be easily modified to support a full range of data speeds—up to 8.5 Gbps. The RT8000 port card manages the latest Fibre Channel protocols and 8.5 Gbps data rates with ease. Users can rely on the RT8000 for greater security and robust operation thanks to the card’s design to support SFP Digital Diagnostics and signal reconditioning and retiming. Media conversion is a snap—by simply changing the SFP from 850nm optical to 1310nm optical.
