NRT2500 Port Card

Multi-protocol/Multi-rate (Up to 2.5Gbps)

The NRT2500 port card accepts 48 Small Form Pluggable (SFP) transceivers and supports a full range of data speeds up to 2.5 Gbps. The NRT2500 port card handles a variety of protocols and data rates, depending on the SFP inserted. SFP can be changed out to alter the media from copper to optical or from 850nm optical to 1310nm optical. The NRT2500 port card acts much like a cable. It requires no retiming or reconditioning to pass signals, and the only effect on incoming signals is that they are boosted to 100% power when transmitted out.
